Instructions

  1. Slice Tortillas: Cut each tortilla into 6-8 equal triangular pieces, similar to slicing a pizza, to form individual chips.
  2. Prep for Air Frying: Lightly spray the tortilla pieces with olive oil cooking spray and sprinkle with coarse salt. Arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring pieces do not overlap for even cooking.
  3. Initial Cooking: Air fry the chips at 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes. After this, open the basket and carefully flip each chip to promote even crisping. Spray again lightly with cooking spray and add additional coarse salt if desired.
  4. Finish Cooking: Continue to air fry for another 2-3 minutes or until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cooling: Remove the chips from the air fryer basket and let them cool on a wire rack or plate. This resting step allows them to finish crisping up perfectly before serving.
