  • 56 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & cut into thin medallions

Sauce:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Toppings:

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare Sweet Potatoes: Peel and cut sweet potatoes into thin medallions. Arrange in a baking dish.
  3. Make Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, water, spices, and salt. Brush ¾ of the sauce over sweet potatoes. Bake covered for 45-50 minutes.
