Instructions

  1. Prepare Vegetables: Remove the core from the green cabbage and thinly slice to make 5 cups. Dice the yellow onion, mince the garlic and fresh ginger, and grate the carrots to have all ingredients ready for cooking.
  2. Cook Vegetables: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or jumbo cooker over medium-high heat. Add sliced cabbage, ginger, garlic, carrots, and diced onion. Stir frequently and cook for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage is wilted and the onion is softened, ensuring a tender and flavorful base for the stir fry.
  3. Cook Ramen Noodles: In the last 5 minutes of cooking the vegetables, prepare the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, discarding the flavor packets.
  4. Combine and Coat: Once the vegetables are cooked, add the drained ramen noodles and the homemade stir fry sauce to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the noodles to be well coated.
