Ripe Avocado Blend:
- 2 ripe, Fresh California Avocados*, peeled and seeded
- 1 (15-oz. can) garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
- 1 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. avocado or extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste
For Garnish:
- Additional avocado or olive oil
- Dice Avocado: Dice half the avocado and set aside.
- Mash Ingredients: Mash remaining avocado, garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt together until smooth. You can also puree in a blender or food processor.
- Combine: Gently stir diced avocado into the hummus mixture.
- Drizzle and Serve: Drizzle with avocado or olive oil if desired, then serve.
