Ingredients

Scale

Peanuts

  • 1 jar (16 ounces) salted peanuts
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) unsalted peanuts

Chocolate & Chips

  • 1 bag (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 bar (8 ounces) German chocolate baking bar
  • ⅓ cup (79 g) peanut butter chips
  • 2 packages (24 ounces each) white almond bark

Garnish (Optional)

  • Sprinkles
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: In the crockpot bowl, combine salted peanuts, unsalted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, German chocolate baking bar (broken into chunks), peanut butter chips, and white almond bark.
  2. Cook on Low Heat: Place the crockpot lid on and set to low heat. Allow the ingredients to begin melting and cook for about 2 hours and 15 minutes total, stirring once after the initial melting.
  3. Stir Thoroughly: Remove the lid and stir the mixture well to ensure an even, smooth blend of chocolates and nuts.
  4. Scoop onto Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, dollop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the sheet to form individual candies.
  5. Chill to Set: Refrigerate the dollops for about 20 minutes or until completely set and firm.
  6. Optional Garnish: Once set, optionally sprinkle with sprinkles or a pinch of sea salt to enhance flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Be sure to stir the mixture carefully to avoid scratching your crockpot.
  • You can substitute almond bark with white chocolate chips if preferred, but almond bark is more stable when melting.
  • If you like a smoother texture, chop the nuts slightly before adding.
  • Store finished candy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Adjust cooking time slightly depending on your crockpot’s heat settings and size.
