These Easy Date Snickers Bars are a delicious and healthier alternative to the classic candy bar. Made with natural ingredients like dates, peanut butter, and dark chocolate, these bars are sweet, nutty, and perfectly satisfying. They are simple to make and a great treat for any occasion.

For the Date Bars:

  • 20 Medjool Dates (I use Natural Delights brand)

For the Peanut Butter Layer:

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (I use Justin’s Brand)

For Topping:

  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp avocado oil (or coconut oil)
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt, to taste (Maldon is a great brand)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dates: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice dates in the middle, remove pits, and place on the sheet slit side up.
  2. Smash Dates: Flatten dates with a glass cup. Spread a layer of peanut butter on top.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Combine dark chocolate chips and oil in a bowl. Melt in the microwave, then pour over the peanut butter layer.
  4. Add Toppings: Sprinkle chopped peanuts and sea salt on top. Refrigerate or freeze until set.
  5. Serve: Cut into pieces and enjoy!
