Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375˚F (190˚C) to get it ready for baking the wonton chips.
  2. Melt Butter and Prepare Tray: Melt the butter in a small bowl. Use a silicone or pastry brush to coat the baking tray with the melted butter to prevent sticking and add flavor.
  3. Cut Wonton Wrappers: Separate the wonton wrappers. Cut each wrapper corner to corner to create two triangles from each square. Place the triangles back into their original square shape on the baking tray, arranging them close together; you can fit about 24 triangles on one tray.
  4. Brush Butter: Using the brush, apply melted butter generously over the wonton triangles placed on the tray to ensure they crisp up and brown beautifully.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the triangles. If using, also sprinkle dried parsley for an extra touch of flavor and color.
  6. Bake: Bake the chips in the preheated oven for 5 minutes or until they become slightly browned and crisp.
  7. Repeat and Cool: Repeat the process for all wonton wrappers until baked. Allow the chips to cool slightly before serving to maximize their crispiness.
