Graham Cracker Crumble:
- 1 sleeve graham crackers (9 sheets of 4 crackers), roughly crushed
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar (granulated or light/dark brown)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch kosher or fine sea salt
- Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix crushed graham crackers, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Add melted butter and vanilla, if using, and stir well.
- Bake: Spread the crumb mixture on the baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes until golden brown and fragrant, being careful not to burn.
- Cool and store: Allow the mixture to cool, then break it into crumbles. Store in an airtight container at room temperature, in the refrigerator, or freezer as desired.
Notes
- For the graham cracker crumbs, place the crackers in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin or use a food processor for a finer texture.
- You can adjust the sweetness and flavor by choosing between granulated or brown sugar and adding vanilla or cinnamon for extra taste.
