This Honey-Garlic Glazed Salmon recipe is a delicious and easy way to prepare flavorful salmon fillets with a sweet and tangy glaze. Perfect for a quick and tasty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Glaze:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Salmon:

  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 4 (6-oz.) salmon fillets, patted dry with paper towels
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds

Instructions

  1. Prepare Glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook Salmon: Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin side up in the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 2 minutes until seared. Flip the salmon and add the remaining oil. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the honey mixture, add lemon slices, and cook, basting the salmon occasionally, until the sauce is reduced by about one-third, approximately 3 minutes.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it tender and juicy.
  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to suit your spice preference.
