Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1½ cups Mexican cream (crema)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 bay leaves
  • ½ cup queso fresco (crumbled)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: In a large pot, boil water and add the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: While the pasta is cooking, use a skillet to make the sauce. Cook butter and garlic on medium-low heat until fragrant. Add Mexican cream, milk, and salt. Simmer with bay leaves for 5 minutes, then remove bay leaves.
