This refreshing Peach Lemonade combines the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with the tangy brightness of fresh lemon juice, sweetened with honey for a perfectly balanced summer drink. It’s easy to make and ideal for cooling down on a hot day or serving at gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup honey (or sugar)
  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced

Lemonade

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 68 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Peach syrup (from above)
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Make the Peach Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water, ½ cup honey, and the sliced peaches. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the syrup to infuse with peach sweetness.
  2. Strain the Syrup: Use a fine mesh strainer to separate the peach skins and pulp from the syrup. Press gently to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids and set the syrup aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 4 cups of cold water, and the cooled peach syrup. Stir well to blend all flavors evenly.
  4. Serve: Pour the peach lemonade over ice-filled glasses and enjoy chilled for a revitalizing summer drink.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of honey or sugar to taste.
  • For a bubbly version, replace the cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Peach slices can be reserved and added to the pitcher for garnish and extra flavor.
  • Store leftover lemonade in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days for best freshness.
