Perfect for holiday celebrations or anytime you crave a minty chocolate delight, this easy no-bake fudge combines the smoothness of sweetened condensed milk with the festive flavor of peppermint in a beautiful swirled pattern.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Mixtures

  • 14 oz (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

Toppings and Extras

  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Red food coloring (optional, for extra swirl effect)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting the paper overhang the edges to make it easier to lift the fudge out once it’s set.
  2. Melt Chocolate: In two separate bowls, melt the white chocolate chips and the semi-sweet chocolate chips. You can do this by microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, or by using a double boiler on the stovetop to gently melt the chocolate without burning.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Stir half of the sweetened condensed milk into each bowl of melted chocolate until the mixtures are smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Add Peppermint: Mix the peppermint extract into the white chocolate mixture thoroughly to infuse the mint flavor.
  5. Create Layers: Pour half of the semi-sweet chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and smooth it into an even layer. Quickly pour half of the white chocolate mixture over it. Repeat with the remaining semi-sweet and white chocolate mixtures. Use a knife to gently swirl the layers together, creating a beautiful marbled effect.
  6. Add Peppermint Candies: Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies evenly over the top of the fudge. For a more striking red swirl effect, add a few drops of red food coloring over the top and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  7. Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill the fudge for at least 4 hours, or until firm and set.
  8. Serve: Use the parchment paper overhangs to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use good-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor and texture.
  • The red food coloring is optional but adds a festive look to the fudge.
  • If you don’t have crushed peppermint candies, finely chopped candy canes work well too.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • You can customize the peppermint intensity by adjusting the peppermint extract quantity.
