Soup Base:

  • 3 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic, minced

  • 32 oz. chicken broth
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided

  • Cilantro

Instructions

  1. Add Chorizo: Brown chorizo in a large pot, then set aside. Clean the pot.
  2. Sauté Onions: Heat olive oil in the same pot, sauté onions until translucent.
