  • 4 Tbsp. salted butter

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak Bites: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and season with salt and black pepper. Sear the steak pieces on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes total. To prevent overcrowding and ensure proper browning, sear the steak in batches if necessary.
  2. Transfer to Slow Cooker: Once all steak bites are browned, transfer them to the slow cooker.
  3. Add Flavorings: Add the minced garlic, beef stock, and the au jus packet to the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine these ingredients with the meat.
  4. Add Butter and Cook: Place the 4 tablespoons of salted butter on top of the steak mixture. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW heat for 4 hours or on HIGH heat for 2 hours until the steak bites are tender and infused with sauce.
