Bacon:

  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon

Sourdough Bread:

  • 2 slices sourdough bread

Avocado Spread:

  • ½ ripe avocado (mashed)

Mayonnaise:

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Seasoning:

  • Kosher salt and freshly-cracked black pepper (to taste)

Tomato and Lettuce:

  • 3 slices tomato
  • A few leaves of iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon. Place bacon in a cold skillet, cook over medium-low heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast the sourdough. Toast bread in skillet until golden and crisp on one side.
  3. Add the spreads. Spread mashed avocado on one slice, mayonnaise on the other. Season with salt and pepper.
