These Spicy Green Beans are a delicious take on the PF Chang’s classic dish, featuring tender green beans stir-fried with a flavorful sauce. Perfect as a side or a main dish!

For the Sauce:

  • 2 TBS soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 1 TBS rice wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

For the Green Beans:

  • 1216 ounces green beans
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 TBS sesame oil
  • 3 TBS water (more as needed)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Prep your green beans by snipping off any ends that need it.

  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil on medium heat for about 30 seconds. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  4. Add green beans and cook until desired tenderness, 3-5 minutes. Add water as needed to steam/cook the green beans.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce mixture, coat with sauce, and cook for another 30-60 seconds or until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
