Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 425°F to prepare for roasting the chickpeas.
  2. Prepare Chickpeas: Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly. Spread them on a clean towel and rub with another to dry as much moisture as possible. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to dry further.

  4. Shake and Continue Roasting: After 30 minutes, remove the baking sheet and give it a good shake to turn the chickpeas. Return them to the oven and roast for an additional 5 to 15 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  5. Coat with Oil and Season: Once chickpeas are crispy and slightly darkened, remove from oven and transfer to a large bowl. Lightly spritz with spray oil, then toss thoroughly with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
