Brussels Sprouts:
- 1–3/4 lb whole brussels sprouts
- 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Sweet Chili Glaze:
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (such as Gramas Sweet Chili Sauce)
- 2 teaspoons gluten-free reduced-sodium Tamari (or soy sauce if not GF)
- minced peanuts for garnish (optional)
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and spray with nonstick spray. Mix sweet chili sauce and Tamari in a small dish and set aside.
- Roast: Trim and halve the brussels sprouts, removing any outer leaves that fall away. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Roast cut side down for 15-17 minutes.
- Coat: Brush the brussels sprouts with the sweet chili sauce mixture. Roast for an additional 5-7 minutes until the glaze is bubbly. Sprinkle with peanuts if desired before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to watch the sprouts carefully to avoid burning the glaze.
- You can adjust the sweet chili sauce to suit your desired level of spiciness.
