Ingredients

Scale

Brussels Sprouts:

  • 13/4 lb whole brussels sprouts
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Sweet Chili Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (such as Gramas Sweet Chili Sauce)
  • 2 teaspoons gluten-free reduced-sodium Tamari (or soy sauce if not GF)
  • minced peanuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and spray with nonstick spray. Mix sweet chili sauce and Tamari in a small dish and set aside.
  2. Roast: Trim and halve the brussels sprouts, removing any outer leaves that fall away. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Roast cut side down for 15-17 minutes.
  3. Coat: Brush the brussels sprouts with the sweet chili sauce mixture. Roast for an additional 5-7 minutes until the glaze is bubbly. Sprinkle with peanuts if desired before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to watch the sprouts carefully to avoid burning the glaze.
  • You can adjust the sweet chili sauce to suit your desired level of spiciness.
