Instructions

  1. Boil Potatoes: In a large pot, place the peeled and quartered Yukon gold potatoes and add enough water to cover them by at least 2 inches. Season the water generously with kosher salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender enough to be easily pierced with a fork, about 12 minutes.
