Ingredients

Scale

Frappuccino Base

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (add 1/21 tbsp more if you want it sweeter after tasting)
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste

Topping (Optional)

  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients. Add the whole milk, ice, granulated sugar, xanthan gum, and vanilla bean paste to a blender.
  2. Blend Until Creamy. Blend the mixture on high speed until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. The blending time may range from 60 seconds to 3 minutes depending on your blender’s strength.
  3. Taste and Adjust Sweetness. Sample the frappuccino and if desired, add an additional 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of sugar for extra sweetness. Blend again briefly to incorporate.
  4. Serve and Garnish. Pour the frappuccino into glasses, top with whipped cream if using, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Xanthan gum helps to thicken and stabilize the frappuccino, giving it a creamy texture without ice cream.
  • You can adjust the amount of sugar based on your preferred sweetness level.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute whole milk with almond or oat milk.
  • Use high-quality vanilla bean paste for the best flavor.
  • Ensure your blender is strong enough to crush the ice thoroughly for the best texture.
