Ingredients

Scale

Fruit Popsicles Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh strawberries, rinsed and quartered (about 3 cups)
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, strawberry jam, granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of kosher salt. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and well combined, ensuring no large chunks remain.
  2. Fill the Molds: Pour the blended strawberry mixture evenly into ice-pop molds. Cover the molds securely and insert ice-pop sticks into each mold, making sure they are centered.
  3. Freeze Until Solid: Place the molds in the freezer and allow them to freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight until they are completely solid. To release the popsicles, dip the molds briefly in lukewarm water, then gently pull the sticks to remove the frozen fruit pops.

Notes

  • For sweeter popsicles, increase the amount of sugar or jam slightly.
  • You can substitute strawberry jam with other fruit jams or preserves for varied flavors.
  • Ensure the popsicles freeze completely before removing to maintain shape and texture.
  • Dipping molds in lukewarm water briefly helps release the popsicles without breaking.
  • This recipe yields approximately 6 popsicles, depending on mold size.
